Synopsis

The Pelesenk family lives a modest life in Istanbul on their terms. After his retirement, Şenol, the family man, opened a small electric shop with his son Sertaç, although he did not understand the business at all. Gizem, the young girl in the house, graduated from her school in the first place. She is constantly applying for jobs. Finally, a reply letter comes from a company in Izmir. Gizem can never find a ticket for Izmir. Şenol says that they will set out as a family and that he will make sure that his daughter arrives at the job interview on time.

And so, after an email, the family embarks on a road trip. Unexpected funny events await them on this journey. Şenol forgot his driver’s license at home because they left the house in a hurry. They take the country roads to avoid being caught by the police. On the way, they stop to ask a young man for the address, and after a moment, they find themselves asking a girl’s family for the girl that the young man wants to marry. After escaping that weird situation, their car gets stuck in the mud in the forest. While trying to get their cars out, they have to spend the night in ranger Faik’s cabin.

After all that has happened, Gizem can attend the job interview with a delay of 1 hour, covered in mud. As such, she will not be accepted for work. Seeing the family’s situation, the boss offers Gizem a job for the company to be opened in Istanbul a month later. And in the end, the family returns home happily.
