Our hero Selçuk lives with his family in a small neighbourhood of Istanbul. Selçuk’s only dream is to join the group of friends of his idol İsmet, the head of the neighbourhood. Selçuk decides that the best way to get into Ismet’s group is to buy him an arcade machine. We watch the unbelievable methods Selçuk finds to save the money for the arcade machine, the injustices he experiences, his disappointments and his ambition to succeed in a neighbourhood environment of the nineties with its grocery store, mosque, dusty streets, fly cars, colourful chicks and rambunctious children. It is also free for today’s parents to say, “Hey those days…, I did this too, I remember this too” while watching with their children.
